Thank you @smartereveryday ! That's a great old video. In the 80's I worked with NASA certified wiremen and learned another key point - neat clean solder joints use less solder and reduce weight. Sometimes more than a hundred pounds per spacecraft!

They did not keep running the reactors at Fukushima - they were shut down because of the earthquake. The backup generators kept the cores cool by circulating water until they were taken out by the tsunami.
