@dazjamescarter@BBCMOTD Diving anywhere, pretending to have been hit by Mike Tyson, surrounding the ref. All yellows at least sypurely. Why are these hardly ever enforced?
@redgolf99@GFoxyFowler Or a slow back of the hand Yorker. These guys were pretty much bought up on T20, so why don’t they use these skills? Also, I’m afraid the constant barrage of short balls just doesn’t work, lunacy. Anyone watched Glen McGrath in his pomp?
@AnfieldWatch Kelleher is a better keeper. Defence is so shaky it’s hard to tell if Mama is worth it, but he doesn’t inspire the same level of confidence that Ali always does.
@WisdenCricket Key has said to county cricketers to go out there and get runs and wickets. If he now ignores the evidence in front of him eg Gay, Rew, then he’s a damn fool. don’t ruin Bethell by opening with him, and pick proper openers with the right mentality of an opener. Zak is toast.
@WG_RumblePants CMJ, the very best of the rest. Looked at cricket as a partial outsider and amateur, so made it come alive for those of us who have never played at any high level. Agree that Ritchie was the best at creating the pictures but I prefer CMJ’s voice and empathy with the listener.
@GC_Rail bought my 1st class ticket from York to KX from LNER. Tried to access their 1st class lounge this morning only to be denied access as I am travelling with GC.
really petty isn’t it.
An agreement with LNER is surely the right way to go. Any thoughts on this? Steve
@LNER bought my 1st class ticket from York to London on LNER. this morning I was denied access to the 1st class lounge at York due to petty rule about travelling with Grand Central. really poor and terribly petty. Any thoughts LNER?
@minevian@cyclingontnt@BritishCycling I know he’s British. But he’s raced for Aus for years, made his name and got to the top of his sport there, beaten a lot of Brits etc etc, so he’s an Aussie.
@JamesLucasIT The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist by Caravaggio in St. John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta, Malta. Full of drama and brutality, as dark as it gets. Also massive, c 3x5m. Went back outside into the brilliant sunshine and the world seemed different.
