🚨#BREAKING: A Minnesota mother, Bonnie Pierce, escaped her burning house only to realize her toddler was still inside…
...and she ran BACK into the flames.
Firefighters found her wrapped around her baby girl, shielding her with her own body. ❤️
Her daughter, SURVIVED, she saved her life.
Her name is Bonnie Pierce, she was 38, a mom from St. Paul, Minnesota.
On Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out in the duplex where she was home with two of her daughters.
One of the girls, Aurora, did something incredible to save herself.
She kicked an air conditioning unit clean out of a window and climbed through it to safety.
And Bonnie made it out too.
She was OUT. She was safe.
But her other little girl, Grace, still just a toddler, was somewhere back inside that burning building.
Her mother, Bonnie, didn't think twice.
She turned around and ran back into the fire.
When firefighters fought their way in, they found her.
She had wrapped her own body around her daughter, shielding that little girl from the flames and the smoke with everything she had left.
Protecting her baby to the very end.
Bonnie was found unresponsive, she'd been without oxygen for nearly 15 minutes.
She had burns over 48% of her body.
First responders and doctors fought for her with everything they had.
But on Monday, Bonnie passed away from her injuries.
Little Grace, the daughter she shielded with her own body… SURVIVED.
She's still in the hospital. But doctors say she is expected to make a FULL recovery.
That is a mother's love.
Her home is now covered in flowers and chalk writing from friends that say "HERO" everywhere.

In March 2016, a woman pulled into a Dutch Bros Coffee drive-through in Vancouver, Washington. She was a regular customer, but this visit was different.
Her 37-year-old husband had died the night before.
The employees could see that she was struggling inside her car. Pierce Dunn, 19, asked if he could pray with her. She said yes.
Dunn was joined by coworkers Evan Freeman and Jacob Hancock. The three leaned through the drive-through window, held the woman's hand and stayed there with her for nearly five minutes, praying for peace for her and her family.
They gave her a free drink and told her she could come back anytime if she needed someone to talk to.
None of them knew that another customer, Barbara Danner, was sitting in the line behind them. She quietly photographed the moment.
Dunn later said he had never prayed with someone through a drive-through window before.
That morning, three coffee shop employees couldn't change what had happened the night before. They could only make sure she didn't have to sit with it alone.
Fifteen-year-old Marius Mikkelsen was walking near a canal in Denmark when he heard a woman screaming.
A stroller carrying her 15-month-old child had rolled into the freezing water. The baby was sinking, and Marius was the closest person who could reach him.
He didn't wait for someone older to step in.
Marius entered the canal and searched beneath the cold water until he found the child. He pulled the baby back toward the surface and helped get him safely to land, where emergency assistance could take over.
He was only 15 years old, facing freezing water and a situation where every second mattered.
A teenager had simply been walking nearby. Minutes later, a 15-month-old child was back on land because he chose to go into the water.
🚨INCREDIBLE: A baby was taken out of the womb at 23 weeks, had a life-threatening tumor removed, and was put BACK INSIDE so she could keep growing.
In one of the most remarkable surgeries ever performed, doctors at Texas Children’s Hospital opened the mother’s uterus at just 23 weeks, partially delivered the tiny baby, cut away a massive tumor that was crushing her heart, then gently placed her back into the womb and sewed everything shut.
The baby, LynLee Hope, continued developing for another 13 weeks and was born healthy near full term.
This is open fetal surgery — one of the most advanced and delicate procedures in modern medicine. Surgeons literally operate on a child who is still supposed to be inside her mother, then return her to finish growing.
A living miracle of skill, courage, and science.
People are talking about the medical necessity of abortion to save the mother's life. I was one of those mothers.
I was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that was cutting off my airway at 20 weeks of pregnancy. I will never forget when the first doctor, an oncologist, mentioned abortion. We had gone thru years of infertility to get pregnant. I knew I would rather die and give birth. Then I met with another doctor who listed all of the problems the baby would have if I did not terminate. I stood my ground and refused. He said, "That is ok. The baby will probably spontaneously abort anyway."
I searched and found good doctors that supported me, and I gave birth to a healthy baby at 34 weeks.

This little girl is not in the video. She wasn't even born. But she is moved to tears watching her mother and father get married. Why?
Marriage researcher and family therapist Pat Fagan once told me:
"When a child sees their mother loving their father they feel like their mother is loving them. When they see their father loving their mother they feel like their father is loving them. It is the only time in the human experience where you can be loved indirectly. No one's even looking at you or touching you or talking to you, but you feel loved."
That is not the case with a step parent, he said. The child may tolerate the romantic expression. But they do not experience that same circuitous love. More often they feel competition or jealousy.
If every child could order their own world, this is what they would say:
"I want my mom and dad to love me and I want my mom and dad to love each other."
Sometimes that's not possible. Woe to a culture that intentionally denies that to children in the name of adult freedom.
🚨#BREAKING: A 14-year-old boy is being praised as a HERO after he used his LASSO to SAVE A DROWNING MAN AND DRAG HIM TO SHORE...
...ON HIS FIRST THROW!!!
His name is Jory Thomas, he's a 14-year-old from Montana.
On July 5, he was camping with his family near Greycliff when a raft and paddleboard slammed into a bridge pillar and threw four people into the river.
Three made it out... but one man did not.
He kept drifting downstream, clinging to a cooler, the current pulling him away fast.
"We all heard, 'Help, help'… and he wasn't saying anything."
Jory didn't wait. He emptied his pockets, ran through a waist-deep channel, and sprinted down the riverbank to catch up to him.
And this year, for the very first time, he'd brought his lariat.
His grandmother Sandy said they've camped at that spot for years and he had NEVER, EVER brought his rope before.
"And that day he did."
Jory took his 12-foot lariat, aimed at a drowning stranger, and threw.
"Luckily, I caught him first try."
FIRST throw!!!
He roped him and hen he pulled that man through chest-deep water all the way to shore and held on until first responders arrived.
His dad and his brothers are on the local fire department. Jory knew waiting wasn't an option.
"God was basically putting me in the place of all this."
His grandma wasn't even surprised.
"His first instinct always is to help other people. He's always been that way."
A 14-year-old spent all year roping a practice dummy in his backyard because he loved it…
…and it made him the reason a man is alive today.

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...
...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.
His name is Gilbert Martin.
Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."
Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.
He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.
Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!
Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.
He was 86 years old at the time.
He's been there ever since.
Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.
He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.
His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.
But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:
"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."
A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.
And Wilmington noticed.
When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.
Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.
He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.
"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”

An emperor, a governor, three rulers with their exact territories, two high priests.
And people HAVE checked — for centuries, often trying to break it. Skeptics mocked Luke’s “Lysanias of Abilene” as an error…
UNTIL an inscription naming Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene turned up.
Pilate was called legend by some… until the Pilate Stone was dug up at Caesarea in 1961 with his name and title carved in it.
Luke 1:3-4 tells you why: “Having followed all things closely… that you may have CERTAINTY.”
Certainty. That’s the offer.
One book floats above history where nothing can touch it.
The other planted its flag in checkable ground and said: dig.
They dug. It’s still standing.
Praise the Lord and His mighty God-Breathed scripture.
🚨#BREAKING: An off-duty firefighter is being hailed as a hero after he rescued TWO CHILDREN FROM A TEXAS LAKE WITH NO PULSE...
...PERFORMED CPR ON THEM AND BROUGHT THEM BOTH BACK TO LIFE ON TOP OF THEIR CAPSIZED BOAT!!!!!
His name is Jason Horne.
He was on Alvarado Lake celebrating the 4th with his 12-year-old daughter Emilie when people started screaming and waving them down.
A boat carrying NINE people had flipped and THREE children were trapped underneath it.
Jason immediately dove in to rescue them.
Under that boat, he found a little boy, he saved him, and then dove back in.
He felt a foot, it was a little girl and Jason tore her loose and brought her back, but she did not have a pulse.
He dragged her ON TOP OF THE CAPSIZED BOAT and performed CPR until she began breathing again.
He and others then flipped the boat and found a little boy with anchor rope WRAPPED AROUND HIS BODY.
The boy also did not have a pulse, he performed CPR on the boy until he got a pulse.
Astonishingly, ALL THREE KIDS SURVIVED!!!!
Every single one went home to their families.
His department said it best: "When others needed help most, Jason did what firefighters do. He stepped up without hesitation."
A 12-year-old girl sat in that boat and watched her father dive into a lake and come back up carrying other people's children.
She will spend the rest of her life knowing EXACTLY what a hero looks like.
He looks like her dad.

You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.
And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.
To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?
Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”
He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.
Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.
The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord.

Helen Roseveare, a missionary who faced intense suffering and persecution during her 20 years of service in the Congo, shares one of the times that she saw God answer prayer in a most unexpected way:
"I went to have prayers with our orphanage children as I did every day, and any of the children wanted gathered around me for prayer time, and I'd give them different things to pray about. And this particular day, I told the children of this tiny baby and asked them to pray for the nurses that they would stay awake all night to keep that baby warm. If the baby got cold, it would die. I mentioned that the baby had a 2-year-old sister who was crying because her mommy had died. I mentioned the burst hot water bottle.
During prayer time, different children prayed for different things, and then one little 10-year-old girl, Ruth, she prayed in the usual blunt way of our African children, 'Please, God, send us a hot water bottle. Now, God, it'll be no good tomorrow. Send it this afternoon. Now, if it comes tomorrow, the baby will be dead.'
I'm sort of swallowing hard, and she said, 'While you're about it, God, would you send a dolly for the little 2-year-old sister, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?'
And that afternoon, the parcel came. It was the first parcel I ever, I've been out there four years, I'd never had a parcel from home. And despite the fact I live on the equator, somebody packing that parcel had been prompted by God to put in a hot water bottle, and a child from my Bible class at home had put in a dolly for a little girl.
And it came that afternoon in answer to a 10 year-old child's prayer, and the amazing thing was, you know, that parcel had been on the way five months to get to us. It had left England in July, and it came that afternoon, cause a child prayed."

Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight.
The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family.
He admitted to the act, saying: “I’m not alleged. I did it.”
He spent just 12 days in jail.
His bond was reduced.
Over half a million dollars was raised.
He was allowed to graduate.
And he is allegedly now attending college.
And somehow, this is what justice looks like?
This is a complete dishonor to the real victim - Austin Metcalf.
As Charlie Kirk said:
“Imagine believing that murderers deserve condolences, not their victims. The divide in America is between anyone with a grip on reality, and the clinically insane.” Those who support the killer are exactly that: clinically insane.
Austin deserved better. And we are not going to let his name be forgotten.
We will be watching.
We will be speaking.
And we will demand justice at trial.
Today, we remember Austin Metcalf.
We pray for his grieving family.
Do not give attention to the killer.
Do not amplify his name.
Say Austin’s name.
A life taken too soon - by a culture that believes accountability will never come.
We’re going to change that.
