Mencari-Mu Tuhan, adalah perasaan yang indah. Kembali pada-Mu, adalah fitrah. - Masjid Nilai, 4.26p.m

Imam Ibn Rajab sebut :

My entire life changed when I realized that nobody was thinking about me.

It completely rewired my brain.

I wonder how many extraordinary people waste their lives fearing the judgement of people who were never even thinking about them in the first place. Fearing a spotlight that was never even on. Performing for an audience that was never even there.

Because the truth is that you aren't afraid of failure. At least not really. You're afraid of other people seeing you fail. You're afraid of what they'll think of you.

But nobody is thinking about you. Everybody's too busy thinking about themselves.

So, that thing you've always wanted to do? Just go do it.

Bila usia semakin meningkat, kita tak lagi kejar benda-benda besar, nak ubah dunia.

Masa bersendirian, tidur cukup, makanan sedap, beberapa orang kawan baik, masa berkualiti bersama insan tersayang.

Kaya yang sebenar.

I have seen intelligent people destroy their careers by never learning to play dumb.

Conveniently, game theory explains why that happens:

In most high-stakes hierarchies, influence is perceived as a zero-sum game.

If you appear "too intelligent," you are perceived as a threat. That can lock you out of important networks.

Let the others feel superior for a while and hide your intelligence until deployment.

Unfortunately, most people will never utilize this strategy. It necessitates acting strategically, not egoistically.

No one knows your struggles better than the Almighty. The silent battles you fought, the tears you shed at night, the burden on your shoulders; He’s aware of them all. Pull yourself together and keep going because it will get better.

Be boring in the right ways. Go to bed early. Wake up early. Eat simple foods. Save money. Exercise. Read old books. Avoid drama. Boring is seriously underrated.
