@Big_E Saying this as someone who has worked in pro audio,
IEMs are completely overrated for this usecase
Over ear headphones are always a better choice and are more comfortable and better for your ears

@TheRohanVarma There's still time to delete this

@kody_not_cody @StepNya What do you mean "supposedly", "we won't really know"
It's literally Mr Krabs

@chiIdestoe Do you people actually think most men choose to hang around with people that are like this, or have friends that are like this

[name @mit83707]

@sweetgummygator @deadlockua Valve would not compromise on that sort of thing, and if they were going to cut costs this wouldn't be a particularly effective way of doing it
I'm guessing it's placeholder. from memory, another hero in the past also had placeholder VA provided by shopkeeper's VA

[name @mit83707]

@deadlockua Is Deadman Danny the urn's voice actor? I wonder if this hints at a new actor for urn

[name @mit83707]

@sweetgummygator @deadlockua There's zero chance Valve are doing that, and for cost savings measures of all things

[name @mit83707]

@deadlockua Or maybe placeholder lines being given by urn's VA? They did get some of the existing VAs to do hero placeholders in the past

@gorilla_wrfre Howabout "the value of art is tied to it's scarcity, as well as the effort required to master the craft so that the art can effectively channel human emotions"

@Austro_Punk You're assuming that based on how I worded my original reply, that I use these tools. I don't, and I am against them and AI music.

[name @mit83707]

@Austro_Punk Tf are you talking about
This was all pre-AI

[name @mit83707]

@Austro_Punk Also worked as a voice actor until AI took that
But please, go on

[name @mit83707]

@Austro_Punk I've got a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition and spent many years working in the recording industry, and live music industry, for other artists aswell as for myself
Tell me more about what you love listening to

[name @mit83707]

@GregoryConti19 You can't just "ban AI music", that's a brain-dead take
These AI assisted tools are available at all steps of the creation process
I can record real instruments and then drop a synthesized vocal on top
Or have an AI write the lyrics, melody, and harmony, then arrange it for real

@ellymelly It needs to be crashed now to soften the blow for when global bond markets and stock markets crash
