@Yeenie_Mcbeenie Wrong analogy. Presuming Elon is the monkey, he is planting his bananas and turning them into thousand acre orchards. He employees tens of thousands to cultivate them, and feeds millions while creating even better bananas for the world.
@omgsidewalks The media doesn’t want it to be known, because they know (even as leftist as they are) that 75% of businesses would leave and California would die. It would expose socialism for what it really is—unsustainable government dependency.
@realcountlustig Yeah, that was a major miscalculation. There is no heat like Texas heat which they are experiencing, especially when the humidity is high. And it isn’t even ‘hot’ yet. But I believe they will play with the roof closed.
@OunkaOnX That’s on her. They know what they can and can’t say. Everything gets pre-approved. If she had gone off on a pro-Israel/anti-Hamas rant—same consequence.
@YourAnonCentral Spoken like a true leftist. Nobody except some leftist Europeans ever take their identity from their continent. As the only country with America in their actual name, how about we call ourselves what we choose?
@Sassafrass_84 Yeah, but the North Texas suburbs ain’t Minneapolis, LA, DC, etc. Not saying something couldn’t happen in Dallas, but it will not end well for those who cross the line.
@DJL06824@AlexNoonan6 I’ve worked in finance 30+ years. IT is highly represented by Indians if that is what you’re labeling as back office. But that is not the case for the rest of the enterprise and industry here in Texas.
@DJL06824@AlexNoonan6 😂 H1B’s here are not who/what you think they are. And that it is a tiny media-accentuated demographic anyway. Newark is not Texas. It’s happening and will pick up speed.
@EinhornGabe The problem is that outside of the entertainment district and historical appeal, the city will begin to die. Those ambitious people will have to decide if they are ready to move to Texas or do something else. It will happen inside of 10 years.
