Fantastic project Rohan & team, updating pulse N data in modern farming systems.
Robust rules of thumb given all the usual limitations of soil type/pH, wet/dry years, inoculation etc.
A straight line separating 2 main treatments: left Valor EZE at 125ml rate + 2L/ha (equivalent) of 10 different formulations of o glufosinate -vs- the respective glufosinate solo (right).
I’ll present results (field + pots) at upcoming Perth Grains Updates 26. @DMAg_consultant
A grower resource protecting beneficial insects, like #parasitoidwasps while managing #aphids in #canola, just got an update 📣
The #BeneficialChemicalToxicityTable now includes honeybee 🐝 data, helping protect both pollinators & pest fighters!

2,4-DB 2L/ha + Broastrike 25g/ha + 0.5% Uptake on capeweed relative to the untreated found at the edge of the trial. Sprayed 30/6 (last photo) they have stopped growing.
Hot off the press, our new study comparing legumes for chicory pastures.
We compared arrowleaf, balansa, sub clover & lucerne at 2 sites.
We found sub clover was the best companion for chicory. Its broadly adapted and grazing tolerant.

These resources may be helpful when looking for frost damage…
Key to monitor now and revisit in 7-10 days and NOT to panic!
Frost damage presents very differently depending on crop status and not always dependent on temp!
