West Bengal commenced #MDA2026 on 15 June across 59 units in 10 endemic districts. At the state launch in Howrah, dignitaries and Dr. Bhupendra Tripathi (BMGF) consumed anti-filarial medicines, pledged support for LF elimination, and flagged off PCI-supported IEC awareness vans.

Advancing LF Elimination through Community Action

PCI India, with the Health Dept., Govt. of Chhattisgarh, has engaged 11 training consultants & 20 SMCs to strengthen CHO capacities and engage communities through multiple platforms for effective MDA and refusal management.

Participated in the two-day onboarding and training programme in Lucknow for 68 Social Mobilization Coordinators deployed across LF-endemic blocks of Uttar Pradesh ahead of MDA February 2026 in Partnership with Health Department Government of UP.
