@maria_leah385@NiallHarbison And sometimes they do the best they can when they have very little themselves. Some locals tried to help and called Niall when they couldn’t. Don’t judge impoverished communities by first world standards.
@Smackalligator@darren140776601@GiftCee That’s because the law in Scotland is different, and allows you to do that. In England if you chuck the letters in the bin and you miss a proper court letter then you may end up with a CCJ. I’m not saying pay, but some of these companies do go to court so don’t just bin the lot.
@MrsCMFrancis I’m in the “so I’m a bit bigger than before, so what” brigade? My body has changed shape as I’ve got older. I’m fit - just did 190 mile walk. I go to the gym to increase strength especially upper body strength. I’d rather be slightly larger than calorie count every mouthful.
@isnit0 It’s not just the Met. Last time I went to fill in a form to report a non-urgent incident (as requested by our local Police ) I gave up because it was asking too many irrelevant questions that you couldn’t skip.
@MrBarryLewis Well, given that you put the bread in the box without leaving the bag folding out over the edge, so would have had to stick your hand in to get it out anyway, I think you just answered your own question.
@pourmeacoffeezz@Gaynotqueer1 I was a tomboy. Short hair, shorts and a T-shirt, playing rough-and-tumble with my brothers. My doll‘s house was a fort for my toy soldiers. Never ever crossed my mind that I “should” be a boy.
@Foxy571@Bob71136804@Tesco It’s not though. Instead of 30 seconds asking for a cup of tea and being handed a pot with hot water, I had to go through being offered all sorts of food/drink options I didn’t want, then get offered them again, then take a number and wait 15 minutes for it to arrive.
@DrOliverLewis@OpenJusticeCoP Prior to this there references to the impact on families of annual assessments. I would like to flag up the number of people who either don’t have family or have family who are not willing or able to monitor and raise concerns. Let’s not forget the safeguards for those.
@DrRebeccaTidy It’s not a fine, it’s a speculative invoice. Step A - get the landowner to cancel. If they say they can’t, they are not telling the truth. Expect any appeal to the parking company to be turned down - that does not mean you have to pay. https://t.co/idBX0VG2NG
@bhx_official would you like to explain why your passenger assistance dumped my 87-year-old mother on arrival, and told her 70+ friend to push her instead because your employee wanted to “go for a fag” despite the assistance being booked weeks in advance?
@ravenofdespair@BandQ@bandq_help Not quite the same but being similar vein - checked my BlueLightCard while in store - online only discount with store pick up. Said I’d see them in ten minutes to collect, and went away to order.
@kingsley516@OSUET1@_mahmiss Terraces from Victorian times, outside toilet. Choice was to turn what used to be the scullery off the kitchen into a bathroom or lose a bedroom.
@MrInvestor5429 @glxyskies @BootsUK Charge back is worth a try, but if Boots dispute it even after you’re given the money the bank can later take it back again.
