Many of these AI companies are trying to replace humans but they forget that we are currently in the stage of integrating with it. That’s why they will fail. They are ahead of their time I guess…

While I'm sure the causes are complicated, no nation has leaned more into "diversity is our strength, we don't need a melting pot we have a salad bowl" immigration insanity than Canada.

It has the highest foreign-born share of the population in the entire G7 and its living standards have stagnated.

Not saying democracy is bad and I am also not saying I have a better solution…

What I am saying though is that Canada is a mismanaged business and I think that’s something we can all agree on.

Democracy can feel like if you were to run a business based on majority voting.

As you can imagine, that business probably wouldn’t do that well because there would be people voting with minimal knowledge and in their best interest vs the best interest of the company.

I see a lot of people fall into the academic trap. More degrees and more education does NOT guarantee you more money.

What you do outside the classroom is what really dictates how much money you will make.

Experience > Education always.

Canada says it’s taking in ~1 million immigrants a year — but that number doesn’t tell the full story.

Here's what really happens when you factor in visa lengths and who actually leaves:

Over 4 years (length of a typical visa) of current intake levels, Canada admits:
- 1.6 million permanent residents → 1.52M stay (~1% emigrate yearly)
- 1.2 million international students → ~366K stay, ~854K leave
- 1.5 million temporary workers → ~368K stay, ~1.1M leave

📊 Total admissions over 4 years: ~4.3 million
➡️ ~2.25 million are expected to stay
➡️ ~2.05 million leave after study/work permits expire

But here’s the kicker:
Because visas last 2–4 years, millions of people are in the country at once on temporary status — even if they don’t all arrive in the same year.

So when we say “1 million per year,” the real immigration footprint is more like 2.5 to 3 million at any given time.

How dumb do you have to be to vote for the exact same people that generated Canada the worst economic statistics in decades and gave the country a lost decade and promised to continue the status quo with printing billions more?

Regardless, back to keeping my head down and working hard. Hoping for the best for Canada but preparing for the worst in the coming years.
