@MotivKasagga But these court things are stupid, its court that was told by the arresting body that it didnt have the person, and it the same court trading the charges against a person who was abducted 19days...nahhh...Law is a fallacy
NUP Deputy President- Buganda Region, Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi, has been brought to Butambala Magistrate's Court under tight security after being dumped at Nateete Police Station.
LOP @JoelSsenyonyi, SG @DavidLRubongoya and other leaders are already at the court in solidarity with him.
Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi's family and supporters have gathered outside Chief Magistrates Court Butambala after learning that he had been brought to court .
This morning, we were at the High Court to follow up on the application for a writ of habeas corpus for Hon Muwanga Kivumbi.
Last week, police denied knowledge of his whereabouts, the UPDF has now also denied the same. The Attorney General’s team has told court that police leadership has given them an indication that they have a lead as to where he might be, and have asked for tomorrow morning to give a report.
We have however learnt that Hon Kivumbi has been dumped at Natete police station, but on coming to Natete police, we’ve been told he’s been taken to Butambala. Although there’s indication that he’s still here at the police station.
We continue to ask, where is Hon Muwanga Kivumbi???

The military has also filed an affidavit denying knowledge of the whereabouts of Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi! They state that they did not abduct him and that he's not under their custody. This, after the police also denied knowledge of his whereabouts. Of course we've seen these kinds of denials before, including in the case of the Kenyans and that of the two @NUP_Ug Deputy Presidents. They lied on oath that they didn't have them, only to produce them days or weeks later. (Under normal times, officers who lie on oath would be held liable for perjury.) Hopefully they will soon preduce Hon. Kivumbi and take away the incredible pain that has engulfed his family and friends.
WHERE IS HON. MUWANGA KIVUMBI?
