@bjacobso@samgoodwin89 I don't think Hindley Milner could deal with the kind of cool shit you can pull off with TypeScript. It's pretty much some form of dependent typing at times.
@soully brother out here writing frontend code on marble with a hammer and chisel, acting like this is more than 30 seconds for anyone with a proper development set-up
@annanay I literally avoided tmux all my life, been using Linux for >20 years. Never had a good use for it.
Took the laptop a few times out after I've started using agents and realized "what the fuck am I doing" and got it set up.
It's such an obvious usecase.
@VinciRSS I'm having Codex slop its way towards having an Elm architecture-like framework on top of Gtk4, WinUI 3 and AppKit.
It's code I would never subject myself to writing by hand. But thanks to the slop machine, it's good enough for a couple of apps I'm making.
@DatCalmBear@TaraBull That actually makes it worse. Facial recognition from a mini cam on a price tag is a terrible idea.
Identifying you on enter and tracking your movement through overhead cameras and updating tags before you realize it or anyone else can see? That's another story.
@voird33r@abdimoalim_ While it wasn't what I was thinking about, I wasn't aware of that publication, I appreciate the info.
Anyway, my thoughts were that the OP's complaint wasn't about hosted pw managers, rather cloud storage. Which calls into question things like a keepassxc db in hosted storage.
@valigo Hi, I'm a Nix shill. Nix makes this worse by making it easy to package your own little custom thing you wanted in LLVM so your hubris ends up consuming you.
Hope this helped!
