There's actually a blueprint to know if a pre-sale will perform well or not that works 90%+ of the time.

1️⃣ Capped pre-sale

If your pre-sale doesn't have a funding limit, it will severely lag behind on release.

There are always exceptions but generally, launch performance is decided by the amount of buyers still available.

If there's an unlimited funding limit it means everyone that wants to buy at pre-sale price basically can.

Why would anyone buy something more expensive from you tomorrow, if they could today.

Demand gone = terrible launch

2️⃣ Hardcap reached

This one is similar to the funding limit we just talked about.

For price to rise on launch and after, we need new buyers (high demand).

If the hardcap isn't reached, it means demand at pre-sale price is low.

Result? They either don't want it or they only want it at lower prices.

This means they'll only buy from you lower which means selling at a loss for you.

3️⃣ Hard to get in

There are a few exceptions where a token can still perform well and not reach its hardcap.

Some-presales only allow dedicated community members and work with a whitelist through certain discord activities or quests.

When many either didn't notice or couldn't complete any of the tasks it means the only way they can buy the token is after the pre-sale.

From who? From the market.

This means from you!

The result? They have to buy a premium price for it.

= profit

4️⃣ High engagement

There's a huge amount of correlation between demand and social media activity.

If you see thousands of people engaging and being excited about a pre-sale this almost always translates to a high numbers of people really being interested.

A high number of people likely willing to buy.

If the engagement is high and there is a pre-sale limit or the hardcap is reached?

Large profit on day 1!

Pro tip:

Beware of fake engagement.

Botted engagement doesn't count to real demand numbers.

(Look at the comments / look at likes + retweets ratio / compare the views on all their posts)

There are always exceptions just like a useless token can also defy logic and pump.

It's a game of statistics however and most of the times this one is INCREDIBLY accurate.

This strategy actually works in all market environments (bull or bear).

It's just slightly more optimal in a bull market but these steps should always be followed to gain a higher perspective.

Also:

The blueprint mainly talks about short term performance.

The immediate performance after the launch on the markets.

A free for all pre-sale with weak numbers but still perform well long term if they all of a sudden have a bullish partnerships some weeks after launch (example).

They just won't perform well on day 1.
