A splash of water. Wetting their clothes and their hair. A few moments of relief from the relentless heat.

For children living in overcrowded tents and displacement camps, often with little protection from the sun and limited access to electricity, fans, or air conditioning, water is more than something to drink. It is one of the few ways they have to cool their bodies. This is why we need to fight hard to bring water to these kids!

The water you help provide is used for drinking, cooking, washing, bathing - and sometimes simply giving a child a few precious moments of relief from the heat.
