@BCRbirmingham @CanalRiverTrust FYI - seems to be a lot of magnet-fishing debris along the canal path between Bournville and Selly Oak at the moment, including lumps of dredged mud on the path that seem to have set hard as concrete - making it a hazard for bikes in a few places
Awesome couple of days completing the @Stocksigns fundraising challenge for the @RoSPA#BrighterBeginnings child safety appeal - summiting Mt. Toubkal with this great bunch - including support from @Gatwick_Airport
This is not a drill! Today Nick and I start our ascent of ποΈ #Toubkal with the @Stocksigns team in support of @RoSPA's #brighterbeginnings child safety appeal. Overnight on the mountain today, then aiming to summit early tomorrow. See you on the other side!
@RockRiverExped Looks great. I'm heading up this weekend. Was this recent shot or file photo? Still a lot of snow on the way up? I see more is on the way tomorrow.
In less than 3 weeks, I'm off to climb ποΈ#Toubkal in support of the @RoSPA Brighter Beginnings child safety appeal. Training hard - running my 5 mile commute again today. My elevation stats will look rather different next month! Support the challenge: https://t.co/S3xEwsBMAS
It's Family Safety Week!
This week we're highlighting accidents to under-5s, and shining a spotlight on simple things you can do to stop your child becoming a statistic.

See how two of RoSPA's own, Nick and Matt, are getting on with their training for Mount Toubkal in May 2018! πͺ
Head over to our website to find out more about the trip and watch the footage from their training walk in the Shropshire hills: https://t.co/mnaRKjQxYu
Spent a great day training in the Shropshire Hills yesterday with Nick https://t.co/HlTfR4STks getting more hill miles in ahead of our @RoSPA fundraising trek to Mount Toubkal in Morocco. Find our what we're up to here: https://t.co/S3xEwsBMAS #toubkal
@snowdonweather Had plans to head up the Watkin Path this coming Sunday (March 11). What are the conditions likely to be like after the this week's weather?
Previous experience has shown that if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle and you drive down Warren lane in the slightest bit of snow, you will not be able to get back up the slope again! Don't do it folks. Park by the church and walk down. Take care out there.
@BikeRightWM Thanks for the reply. I'm fine, no damage to me or bike other than a bent derailleur hanger. Driver stopped - clearly shaken by their bad decision though. We chatted about what happened and parted ways. Might well be time to invest in a rear camera!
