Every Council in the UK has lied.
When an asylum seeker is given Indefinite Leave To Remain they are classed as homeless and it is a PRIORITY that they must be housed.
In order to cut down the number of illegals living in hotels, the government have rubber stamped 200,000 asylum applications, now the councils have to house them.
So, if you are on a Council waiting list, the government have just allowed 200,000 people to jump the queue and the Home Office are processing new applications at the rate of ONE A MINUTE.
In the meantime you have to pay your rates and taxes.
