@PoSHYoungTeam Initial impact was grossly underestimated...
What looked like 200 malicious/typosquatted PowerShell Gallery modules is actually 1,943 modules tied to the same campaign.

this was also pushed to #PowerShell@ThePSGallery
How do I know, well the same IP Address was used - http://193.70.34.101:20099/vote in the 1943 packages uploaded
I reported the packages to the PowerShell Team

Trying to workout who/how to prod to update that article
Someone has uploaded a lot of #PowerShell modules with names similar to well-known PowerShell modules (AWS, AZ), but with spelling mistakes to the #PowerShellGallery
Looking at the code it collects information to download a malicious exe. Please be aware!
@AzureDevOps agents still lack a native handler for custom pipline tasks with PowerShell 7+.
To do it today, you would have to rewrite your whole extension in typescript, which makes it more complex
So i opened a PR for that last weekend https://t.co/ZvQ5YQbhiW

@steskalj@awakecoding Well first of all, i hope it wont get replaced.
But it feels like Microsoft dont want to invest in PowerShell anymore.
Maybe it's bash, maybe still PowerShell but no updates, maybe something else.
