@Hockey_HighLife NMCs are to protect the player from being traded against their will, when the player attempts to weaponize it by asking out and hoping their list provided is big enough then the GM has every right to do what's best for the team and ensure there is a good return, this is basic.

He doesn't get to use the NMC against SY, you still don't get it. SY will hold him, and he will play.

He has said that he won't trade him to those teams as they don't have good returns, he's not obligated to trade Larkin by any means. SYs roster is not failing to honor a contract.

@willjohnsonbf1 Jarvis Guentzel and Forsberg are all wingers on their respective teams. Larkin would've been the 1C on a few winning teams this year there's 0 debate about that. PHI, BOS, MIN, WASH to name a few.
