@SportsBoyTony You and Ken are one of the only few that took the bait when they traded for him. The carriage has turned into a pumpkin like it always has with him. But I’m sure you have some advanced analytic BS stat that says otherwise.
@KenCarman But last year when callers didn’t want to take the 5th round pick 2nd overall they were afraid to take a QB. This year, with still no real QB on the roster, it’s reckless to take one. I don’t want any of these QB’s, just trying to decide if I’m a coward or reckless.
St. Bonaventure HC Mark Schmidt honored the community that has embraced him and the program throughout his tenure in his final press conference:
“That community, in Olean and Allegany, it's prideful. Those people think that Olean is the best place in the world. You can't talk negative about it. You gotta be one of them. And one of them is good. I take pride in telling people that I’m an Olean guy, that I'm a Bartlett guy. … The next guy that comes in, he has to embrace that and understand that basketball is everything to that community.”
Mark Schmidt walks off the court for the final time as Bona coach.
Props to the Bonnies for quickly turning the page on that regular season and giving us a gutsy little March run.
The only ever #Unfurl after a loss. To Mark, thanks for saving the Bonnies when we needed it most.
@Clevta@LanceReisland Timing is everything when drafting a franchise QB. How many times have the Browns stunk (including the last 2 years) and not been able to get the guy. Have to pull the trigger when the opportunity is there.
