@BBCNewsnight industry specific support helps the large organisations but there’s no ‘trickle down’ to the many freelancers and small businesses within those sectors, many of whom were excluded from government support schemes.

[Alice Fearn @alice_fearn]

I’ll be honest. Every time @RishiSunak announces new grants/furlough/anything I get real low as I know it won’t apply to me and I’ll be left out (like so many) yet again. It is beyond unfair. 10 months and counting without any financial support 😔 @ExcludedUK #forgotten

It's essential that Government engages with all the Self-employed workers in Live performance- singers, dancers, actors, musicians, creative teams, technicians, scenery, costume, wig & prop makers and many more who are unable to go back to work @RishiSunak @the_ALD @BorisJohnson

@emmalunn Hi, I work as a lighting and video engineer in theatre. Many in my industry are falling through the cracks of govt support.

@Jacquifuller Hi, I work as a freelance video and lighting engineer and have lost all of my work for the foreseeable if that might be of interest?
