@racecourserambl We don’t need piroe. Would be a complete waste of money. Doesn’t fit our style and would be another broadhead. Not particularly quick nor can he hold up the ball and do the dirty work required. Gelhardt on the other hand is exactly what we need in that 10 role.
@racecourserambl@DanWrexham Average championship cb at best. Comes up against any decent striker and he gets exposed. Not our most pressing issue currently though.
@craigyjones17 I love Arthur, but him in a Russell Martin team has disaster written all over it. He’s like a rabbit in headlights whenever the ball gets passed back to him.
@jordanbhx This is an incredibly surface level assessment of a complex matter.
The logic seems sound until you give it more than a moments thought.
Plus the airline industry is hub and spoke now. We’re hamstringing our own airlines, and losing money from our economy to KLM and AF
So the EFL want to help us with the documentary, for exposure reasons and therefore financial reasons, by fixing promotion for us to a league out of their governance where they wouldn’t receive these benefits?
Mind you the EFL does have a habit of making self harming decisions
EFL is corrupt. Wrexham will end up getting that 6th place spot and somehow win the playoffs all due to EFL helping them with there documentary and also the EFL want Ipswich promoted and always give them soft penalties
It’s maybe this lack of IQ and professionalism that explains why I can’t fit all of the clubs he played for in one screenshot.
More clubs (28, 30 different spells) than goals (22) as a forward playing half of his time in semi pro leagues probably tells you all you need to know
@CG78ctg@fidtim@racecourserambl There is! I got an error message on the first and no confirmation email, so bought a second, and only realised after I had 2 tickets in my account history.
I had to request an email confirmation for the first one
@RobRyanRed That’s £19 million converted form euros so they’ve matched our supposed offer.
I said it when it was first reported though, we aren’t at the stage where we can be dropping that money on a project.
@LiamJRandall Care to elaborate @slbsn, on this demonstrably false defamatory statement you’ve provided? I imagine no comment as you probably know this borders on what the UK courts deem as slander?
@LeonWobYP Hes a great defender and dominant aerially, but you’re doing him a disservice calling him a no-nonsense defender. He’s one of the better ball playing cb’s you’ll find at league 1 level. The main thing holding him back from being championship level is his pace.
@allrovers_@Treu_red I mean if we’re going to go down this route is it not more distasteful that your own club paraphrased the words of a dead man, for some football banter with a league 2 club on Twitter? Not exactly a classy tribute is it?
