In fairness to the players, they're only here to play 81 games at home, then 81 games on the road, then they live in warm climates in the offseason. Many are new to the area and just arrived in DC in late March. @DanKolko_ was rightly baffled and dismissive of the question!
@kylejguy As an old head UVa alum, thank you Kyle for being so clutch during that run. Seeing you guys win in person in Minneapolis was a once in a lifetime experience!
@EWErickson Erick I've been in the press gallery for several SOTUs. Media doesn't stand up for any aspect of any SOTU. The job is to sit there and observe and write what's happening, no matter who is at the podium or in the galleries. (Also: Go USA Hockey - what a story!)
@marcthiessen You must live in the wrong neighborhood! We had multiple teen agers in Fairfax putting word out on social media that they'd shovel for people. Thankfully I have my own teen ager who helped!
@mattyglesias@DCDPW I don't get it with DC and plowing. My tiny side street in a woodsy neighborhood in Fairfax has been plowed multiple times, along with the rest of the neighborhood. Driving was no problem this morning or even yesterday.
Cheers to our friends at @capitalweather who nailed the timeline and the snow/sleet forecast 48 hours out. I’ve been following these guys for 20 years and they’ve always my source of truth for DMV weather.
.@hannah_natanson is one of the most talented reporters at @washingtonpost and I am confident that The Post will do everything possible to allow her to continue to do the revelatory journalism she excels at, which relies at times on confidential sources. https://t.co/uCEQP90YGT
I’m proud to be colleagues with @hannah_natanson, a tireless reporter who has been the engine for countless must-read stories that have informed all of us.
