Happy New Year, MENTies!
It’s been almost 10 months since we built this community… and now, we’re here.
Still here.
When we started, we didn’t know what this would become. We only knew that we wanted a space that felt safe, grounded, and real. A place where supporting Mika and Brent didn’t have to be loud to be genuine, and where everyone could feel like they belonged.
The journey hasn’t been easy. From the PBB days until now, we’ve seen how quickly things can change. There were moments that lifted us, and moments that tested us. Times when everything felt aligned, and times when staying felt heavier than leaving. We went through ups and downs, misunderstandings, silence, and uncertainty… but through all of it, we stayed grounded. We stayed united in our own ways.
People came and went, and that’s part of every journey. But somehow, we’re still here. Still choosing to show up. Still choosing to care.
We stayed because you stayed.
Because MikBrent stayed.
Time and time again, Mika and Brent showed up for each other. Not in perfect ways, and not always when it was easy—but they stayed. Those choices, repeated over time, quietly built something real around them. something people learned to trust. And that was enough reason for many of us to keep staying too, even during moments when everything felt uncertain.
“I celebrate you today and everyday” became more than a line we held onto. It became how this fandom learned to love. We celebrate MikBrent in big moments and even in small wins… but we also celebrate every MENTies who stayed, who trusted, who supported, and who believed, even during the hard times.
This fandom was never just about numbers or even trends. It was about consistency. About choosing love in small, everyday ways. About holding on, even when things felt messy or uncertain.
As we enter a new year, we’re not here to make perfect promises. We’re just choosing to continue… showing up, doing our best, and holding space for this community the same way we always have.
Thank you for staying when things were easy, and even more for staying when they weren’t. Thank you for trusting us, for believing in this community, and for walking with us through every season of this journey.
We carry this year with us… not just the wins, but the lessons, and the people who made it meaningful.
Here’s to moving forward with the same heart.
With gratitude. With care. With each other.

Happy New Year, @mikslmnc@brentymanalo ! ✨
Thank you for coming into my life and being one of the reasons i survived this year. Here’s to more achievements, opportunities and happy memories this new year!
Sa’tin ang 2026! 🤩💜
Still floating on cloud nine after our successful block screening yesterday at SM Aura Premier.
What started as a simple plan slowly turned into something so much more meaningful than we ever imagined.
When we were preparing for this event, we had only one thing in mind: to make it more than just a watch party. We wanted it to be our year-end thanksgiving, a celebration of love and everything we’ve been blessed with this year.
And looking back now, our hearts are so, so full.
This year came with its own challenges, lessons, and victories, but through it all, one thing remained constant: the people who chose to believe in us, stand with us, and show up, every single time. Wrapping up our year with this block screening felt like the perfect ending, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to do it.
To everyone who made this exclusive block screening possible, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To MENTies, thank you for always, always supporting our initiatives, trusting our projects, and donating to our donation drives. Thank you for showing up, cheering loudly, and standing beside us in every event. You made all the responsibilities lighter to carry, and we hope we made you proud with how we pulled off all our events.
To the brands who trusted MikBrent and supported not just them but also the fans, thank you. Thank you to Jollibee for your generosity and for always making every event jolly-mazing. To Surf and Quadro, thank you for the colorful and thoughtful loot bags that added so much joy and excitement to our event. Your support made the experience even more special for our attendees, and we’re truly grateful.
To Star Cinema and everyone behind Call Me Mother, thank you for giving us the opportunity to do this for MikBrent. Hearing the words, “Congratulations to us, because we’re all part of the success of Call Me Mother,” meant so much to us. It reminded us why we do what we do. We hope to create more meaningful moments with your team in the future.
To our ates from MikBrent Global and the ates of Mika, our constant source of strength, thank you for always holding us up and standing behind us through everything. Thank you for trusting MBO, for supporting every decision we make, and for always believing that we can pull things off, no matter how big or challenging they may be.
Thank you, MikBrent Global, for the https://t.co/xH8xyoTPvX donuts in all our block screenings and for the meals that always ended our long days on the warmest note. Your love travels across borders and reaches us in the most tangible, heartfelt ways.
And to MikBrent, none of this would have been possible without you. The love we have for you created a family, and that family made this year one of our most meaningful yet. Everything we do comes from love, respect, and genuine belief in your dreams. We hope that with every project, every event, and every effort, we were able to make you feel how deeply proud we are to stand with you. Mahal na mahal namin kayo.
We gave this year everything we had, our time, energy, hearts, and faith, and we hope it was enough to make everyone proud.
Here’s to memories made, love shared, and dreams continuously chased. Thank you for walking this journey with us.
Next year ulit ha? Marami pa :)
“i hope we both make it until the end,” “ment to win this game together,” “sana tayo final duo,” “we will never breka hearts,” “big winner! big winner!” in her handwritten letter for him, and his “big winner 2025” answer the night before the big night when asked what caption heʼd use for his first post post-pbb. these were just some of mikbrentʼs small and big dreams that all became a reality.
for two people who joined pbb as their last resort, coming out as the first ever pbb big winner duo was already a feat. itʼs crazy to imagine how one mishap in their pbb journey—mibi not getting that much needed immunity, brince getting evicted, ment not getting reunited and rebranded as breka, breka not making it to the big four, breka not winning as the big winner—could have resulted in a much, much different ending. mika probably would have returned to the US to live a normal life with her family, while brent probably would have just focused on modeling. they would have none of everything that they have now, and we as fans wouldnʼt have a reason to be as strong and loud as we are now. but brent was right. “you can never beat fate” and “whatʼs meant for you will always find you.”
and we will always go back to that iconic ikea couch conversation. looking back, i love how honest, raw, and sincere they were with every word, every dream that they uttered. they just shared whatever came into their minds, not realizing that they would achieve practically all those dreams—and so much more—so soon. and maybe thatʼs why their participation in 'call me mother' is even more special, because “gusto kong mag-taping ng isang movie” was mikaʼs very first answer to brentʼs question. it was a big dream that even he was unsure about the feasibility of happening, but she was optimistic and simply said, “possible lahat ng bagay,” and added that she was going to work hard to achieve it. and now, voilà!
itʼs been proven time and again how powerful their manifestations are, that sometimes it almost feels like their words are gospel. but itʼs the manner how things have unfolded for them that never ceases to amaze me. how brent was literally just standing there as 'call me mother' was being announced as one of the official entries for this yearʼs mmff three days after the big night, and how on the same occasion, he was asked about his dream mmff movie genre, to which he answered a romcom with mika. unbeknownst to him and everybody else, her dream to do a movie and his dream to do an mmff movie with her was already there in the same room, about to come true.
what a beautiful, beautiful thing it is that their first ever movie together is one thatʼs part of mmff, that time of the year when most people actually pay attention to local films. someday, when we look back, we will always remember christmas day 2025 as the day when one of mikbrentʼs dreams was materialized and released for the world to see. either the pbb house, especially the ikea couch, is a genie that grants wishes, or their story is proof that good people will always, always be rewarded, or who knows, it could be both.
for sure, MENT duo is so proud of the artists that you have become, mikbrent.
parang kailan lang noong nahihirapan kayong i-lead ang housemates at gampanan ang role bilang directors sa sarili niyong task sa paggawa ng content.
i still remember how sad you were. how your confessions sounded like
"nakakahiya po kuya... lalo na kay brent"
"ayoko na pong ipakita na malungkot ako kuya lalo na kay mika kasi malungkot na nga siya...."
few months back, brent was just there comforting mika when she feel so low of herself, so afraid to make mistakes, and so doubtful of her capacity to lead AND i remember how mika only welcomed brent's warm embrace despite everyone trying to comfort her.
today, we've witnessed them walking in the red carpet for an MMFF movie that they are part of. still together, still partners, still the same warmth for each other but this time, their hug is a symbol of celebration.
this time, they no longer have to suppress their emotions, they are no longer have to fear being a burden to each other because for this one, their project is a success, it's an achievement, and they for sure are so excited to tell each other their "proud of yous"
malayo na at malayo pa ang mararating niyo, @mikslmnc & @brentymanalo ❤️🩹
mula mika at brent to MENT to BREKA to MIKBRENT to MARBEA, kasama niyo kami palagi 🫂

Nine months may sound short to some, but for us, it holds countless moments, shared emotions, and memories we’ll always carry. Over time, this fandom became more than just support… it turned into a community built on love, patience, and genuine connection.
We stayed through the quiet days and the loud ones. Through celebrations, waiting, and everything in between. What makes this fandom special isn’t just Mika and Brent, but the people who choose to show up every single day—with kindness, respect, and unwavering support. This space became a safe place, a comfort, and for many of us, a second home.
Thank you, MENTies, for loving sincerely, for standing strong, and for creating a fandom filled with warmth. Your presence, your voices, and your hearts truly matter. Here’s to more months of growing together, more memories worth keeping, and more reasons to stay.
To celebrate this milestone, here’s our exclusive TikTok video of Mika and Brent—our small gift to the fandom. Thank you for being with us, always.
