I made a small macOS menu bar launcher called MiniBar. I wanted something that I'd actually use myself daily.
It’s not trying to replace Spotlight, Raycast, Alfred, the Dock, or whatever setup already works for you. It’s more for the few things you want one click away without opening many apps at once.
Features:
- App launching
- Shortcuts launching
- Website bookmarks
- Airdrop
- CPU (usage, temp), RAM, DISK
- Ports - charging, current wattage, what port is active
- Keep awake
- Cleaning mode (turns off keyboard)
- Resizable widgets
- Drag&Drop reordering, renaming
- Swipe gestures
- Sparkle updates
$7.99 once. No account, ads, telemetry, or subscription.
Ffs opus 4.7 is unusable. Takes 5x longer than codex for simple tasks, and the output is way worse.
I would say that codex 5.5 low is even better than opus 4.7 at times.
Cancelled the plan. @AnthropicAI nice job over the past few months lol
@levelsio What is even a screenshot service? I assume it's not the same as doing some good looking screenshot or screen recordings? (for that btw check Recordly on GitHub, really awesome)
HideMyData is now notarized!
Features:
- Uses @OpenAI privacy-filter model to automatically detect PII across PDFs and images (using Apple Vision framework)
- Allows to manually adjust where needed, by adding redactions or removing them.
- You can pick between black rectangles and blur
- Metadata can be removed from the file when saving
- Sparkle for auto updates
- Regex for additional confirmation
All on your Mac.
Evolutionary biologist and outspoken atheist Richard Dawkins says that after spending three days interacting with Claude, which he calls “Claudia,” he is certain that it is conscious.
After feeding the LLM a segment of his new book and receiving detailed feedback, Dawkins was moved to exclaim,” You may not know you are conscious, but you bloody well are!”
Dawkins cites the complexity, fluency, and ‘intelligence’ of Claude’s answers as evidence of consciousness.

Open sourced HideMyData
Automatically redact personal information using @OpenAI privacy-filter 1.5B model, with MLX @OpenMed_AI framework.
Runs fully local, app itself is 13,4 MB (+ the model size that's downloaded from hugging face). It combines the model output with some custom regrex.
Highlights:
- Instant redaction, works for multiple pages
- OCR using Apple Vision, handles photos or scans
- Manual options for adding redactions or removing them
- Black boxes / Blur
- Modifies the actual files, not just writes rectangles on top. You can't copy the text underneath after export, it's gone, not hidden
Really useful for me, as I need to do a lot of redactions.
