Excited to broadcast the Skeeters state semifinal soccer match tonight on KEOM! Winner heads to Georgetown next weekend for the state championship match! Go Skeeters!
@R_Brauninger I would be curious to see how many of these coaches got to dodge Bama, Ole Miss, Georgia and Tennessee in their first year. Add two of those four to our schedule this year and our record falls in line with a majority of those records.
Great night presenting to all of our new Secondary Math, RLA, and Science teachers. The energy in the room was great from the start and the depth of discussion was incredible. Excited for our district! Excited for our students! Excited for the days ahead!
@janine_fields@mesquiteisdtx Such a great experience! I loved seeing all the smiles on our students’ faces! Thank you for your help and guidance during the planning!
Students and staff of Mesquite ISD: The moon has started its eclipse of the sun! About 70 minutes away from totality!!! Those eclipse glasses should be on if you are currently outside and viewing the sun!
In downtown Mesquite for the Total Solar Eclipse viewing party! Excited for @XF49SW to go live with the Associated Press in about 30 minutes to discuss all things eclipse related!
I’m thankful for a team that is willing to meet over spring break to make sure the science professional learning session is high quality and leads to teacher and student success. So much of today’s success is due to the effort and intentionality from these two!
We looked at the framework for K-12 Science, examined the changes to the TEKS for each grade level, had some quality discussion about vertical alignment, and looked at what research has to say about a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Such a great day! (2/2)
I am so proud of the way our Mesquite ISD K-2 Science teachers worked during our new TEKS professional learning session today. Professional learning the Monday after spring break certainly has some challenges, but these teachers came ready to work! (1/2)
@BrandonLeone The players deserve better. So many talented athletes and nothing ever looks
easy for them. Only explanation for that is poor coaching and development.
