@aidthoughts If you mean WEIRD the acronym, then agreed. If you mean bad ethics, then I'm less agreed. An ethical intuition that two situations - one with 1 billion poor people and 1 b rich, another with 1 b poor and 10 b rich, have the same amount of poverty - seems ok to me.
@mininghistory I went to do some research in the US National Archives once and there were 10 people in a room for 200.... very pleasant way to do research!
Of all the societies and issues in the world for privileged academics to spend time on, it had to be this one: marriage in the wealthiest country on the planet.
Yesterday, I shared 4 printmaking techniques that generate fairly similar outputs in Midjourney.
Today, I'm adding 4 more similar techniques to your bag of tricks.
The prompt is:
lighthouse, [printmaking technique] --ar 2:3
Here are all eight techniques:
Risograph
Screen printing
Letterpress
Lithography (litho, lithograph)
Linocut print
Woodcut printing
Wood engraving (*specify colors)
Relief printing
These are the colors MJ generated w/o me specifying any - except for the wood engraving.
Results vary depending on the subject and the parameters you choose.
I tested these tokens with several different subjects and found many great gems!
I can't decide which style is my favorite - they are all great.
P.S. This is not to say that these are exactly as they would be in real life. This is how MJ interprets these styles.
Low quality workbooks produced for public education in Chihuahua... wish more teachers and educators felt free to give this kind of feedback. I love her pithy summary: Que verguenza.
No quiero ofender, sé que el gobierno de #Chihuahua representa a un sector de la población y que estos materiales fueron diseñados por algunos docentes, pero... ¿En verdad, estos son mejores libros?
NEW: Rudy Giuliani's lawyer, Bob Costello, has sued him in Manhattan state court for unpaid legal fees to the tune of $1.36 million.

✅Fact check: AB 1633 (Ting) is a common-sense bill that prevents cities from using pretextual calls for additional environmental study to delay indefinitely or kill a narrow class of urban infill housing projects already protected under the Housing Accountability Act.
@FillingTheCrack In theory of financial intermediation, actor takes deposits + promises to invest wisely/hold safe. Moral hazard is depositor cannot control their actions. Doesn't matter what specifics of actions are (stupid, risky, criminal), nor what outcome is (bankruptcy, bank run, Ponzi).
@sarahmrose My family has been enjoying Alone - seems to bring out best of people, and evokes genuine wonder for our natural Earth. Start with Season 6 maybe... on netflix now I think...
@FillingTheCrack Maybe I misunderstood your tweet. I thought you were saying the idea that there was a moral hazard problem in the depositor bank relationship was unrealistic.
