Trump, Vance & others either have forgotten or never knew that Zelensky signed a ceasefire agreement with Putin in 2019. Three years later, Putin launched his full-scale invasion. So, signing another ceasefire with no security guarantees feels like suicide for Ukrainians.

Four years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, we needed a leader with the character to put politics aside and do what was right. That’s what @JoeBiden did.
At a time when our economy was reeling, he drove what would become the world’s strongest recovery – with 17 million new jobs, historic wage gains, and lower health care costs. He passed landmark legislation to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure and address the threat of climate change.
I’m grateful to Joe for his leadership, his friendship, and his lifetime of service to this country we love.

I admire ORBITAL and think it's a worthy winner, but I'm even more pleased about this #BookerPrize2024 result because it's a vote for creative freedom, for the right of artists to go where their imagination leads regardless of first-hand experience. This is precious.
The last year I got lazy in my fiction reading. Pulpy novels only. @SantiagoTobon convinced me to read Agota Kristof’s trilogy: The Notebook, The Proof, and The Third Lie. Easily the best writing I’ve read in a decade. Also perverse and disturbing and confusing. Reading it is like walking out from a cozy room into bracing cold wind. Amazing.
