Ultimately - and this applies everywhere - the person you can trust as genuine is the person that doesn’t want or need anything from you other than companionship. They want to support you, lift you up and root for you in a balanced partnership. Find that person 😉
I made this post private, not bc I don’t stand by my sass but bc I don’t want it to be misinterpreted as sour grapes. This was inspired by a convo w/ a group of girls here who complained abt the scene & when I was actively looking I found truth in their complaints.
A brief rant on men who project their insecurities by way of dating an extremely hot woman w/ little else to offer instead of their perfectly attractive intellectual and/or successful equals.
This is a plague here in LA and I’ve got thoughts!

You know you’ve dated in LA if you’ve actively wondered “is this a date or a job interview.” So if that was done to me, imagine what’s done to people much higher up on the food chain. Who can you trust as genuine? Or you settle for the transaction I suppose.
Talked to a lot of my neighbors and we’re sitting this one out. Love my neighborhood, but this doesn’t feel like a celebration of our queer community. It’s a parade full of Citibank floats.
Props to Treefort in Boise for at least giving locals a discount ticket for the festival which is about community.
Here at Weho Pride everyone gets massively inconvenienced so a private organization can do rainbow capitalism in our community & turn us into Coachella.
The organizers lost the fkn plot this year with the acts, and more controversially the grand Marshall (axed). No input from community. No consideration for the locals. Just how do we sell this music fest as a high scene event.
Also the toilets last year were overflowing.
Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
@GeecheeKid That’s my only wish as well. I want someone to build up, enjoy mutual passions with and support and root for. A relationship is a two way street, not a fancy car or watch for the moment.
TLDR: in a world of Trump & Melania’s, be a Barack and Michelle. The former screams male insecurity, and the latter shouts confidence & respect.

People are so stupid thinking this is election fraud. They just think ballots shouldn’t be counted. That’s it. They want to make it more difficult to vote so old rich republicans with smaller precinct lines have an easier time to do so.
Los Angeles City Late Mail
🔵 Karen Bass – 11,748 (36.9%)
🔵 Nithya Raman – 10,664 (33.5%)
🔴 Spencer Pratt – 6,433 (20.2%)
Raman’s rough benchmark against Pratt is 11.2%, so this is an 2-point overperformance, though turnout could change that.
There’s cute little homes like that here in Norma Triangle. They go for around $2mil 😰
I doubt my investment would ever be worth that, but over a million in 10-20 years, sure.
There’s two cute little mini homes available in my chosen neighborhood in Boise or what I like to call Greenport, NY west. If one of these becomes available next Fall I won’t hesitate. I will probably live there at least half the year & no I will not Airbnb it.
As someone born and raised in New York, wrong. Native New Yorker, yes you have to be born or raised there. But to be part of a community built on immigration? Anyone can be a New Yorker. Foolish comment.
Everyone waiting on Bond 26.
Me chilling listening to a David Arnold score and enjoying immersive writing with plenty Easter eggs (“we have all the time in the world”) playing #FirstLight:
This game is an absolute feast for Bond fans even if it does very much play like a Hit Man game. However it works really well for a spy franchise so no complaints. I think it’s fantastic and hope this is the direction the franchise heads in story wise.
