So for reasons unknown I have been subscribed to a mailing list to receive begging emails from the Republican Party (I am British and live in Britain...).

While they have been highly amusing for the past couple of years I finally decided to try unsubscribing.

It has just been pointed out to me that they are still using the prechecked recurring payment boxes!

My point is that this has been carefully prepared to fool a target market of low-tech literacy recipients, that actual real effort has gone into "lets prevent people from unsubscribing while also hoping they accidentally give us more money"
