Hey @seoptimer. Any good reason you can't update your crawler to properly identify itself using the User-Agent header?

Bad bots make reqs like this, so our firewall is blocking your tool.
@theaprilwier@askwpgirl@CopperGordon@SiteDistrict I don’t think there was any smack talk being made.
Not sure why you seem to be defaulting to interpreting every tweet negatively.
I have hands-on experience with both platforms, and I just provided my opinion. All I said was “better”.
Subjective, but supported by experience.
@theaprilwier@askwpgirl Trying again ... 😅
Hi, I'm Matt. 👋 Nice to meet you, April.
Looks like we might know a few of the same people. Obviously, Angela.
Based on this video, maybe also @CopperGordon?: https://t.co/hstpFSY1q4
He hosts all his sites on @SiteDistrict too. 😊
@theaprilwier@askwpgirl Sorry, I tend to be blunt. Didn’t mean to be aggressive. Reply was mostly for Angela’s benefit.
I’m her friend, and I also run @SiteDistrict, which hosts her websites.
I’m familiar with Convesio, their platform, & have migrated many websites from them, & thus my claim.
@theaprilwier@askwpgirl For the rest of her sites, not this Cloudways one, in case that wasn’t clear.
Still stupid that you can’t edit tweets on this thing, unless you pay. 🤦🏻♂️
@manonatelier @askwpgirl@SiteDistrict Kinsta is generally a good host. I would keep them on your top three list. Definitely better than most.
However, most customers on @SiteDistrict that also have experience with Kinsta have moved all their sites to us for better performance, pricing, and support.
Any of my friends and @SiteDistrict customers (or soon to be customers) heading to WordCamp US in Portland next week, staying at the Hyatt, and want a Guest of Honor award (free breakfast, club access, late checkout, etc.)? #WCUS https://t.co/TuATzQUNiP
@askwpgirl@KatieKeithBarn2@kinsta@SiteDistrict At @SiteDistrict we actually have our own firewall and CDN, custom built, and somewhat similar to CF for attack and DDoS prevention, but generally even better for WP sites.
Customers can and still do use their own CF accounts - but that & the CF proxy are totally optional.
@askwpgirl@KatieKeithBarn2@kinsta@SiteDistrict Yeah, Kinsta - like several others WP hosts that probabaly have been founded by bad traffic - now use Cloudflare for sites and force their customers to use it too.
I’m pretty sure this is the reason for the (annoying) DNS changes.
Duolingo has gone down the toilet this week. Tons of people missing XP on the leaderboards.
Everyone talking about out it … except @duolingo 😡
Just search “duolingo xp”.
Someone claimed it’s been going on 2 weeks.
Maybe they tried to stop people scamming XP but screwed up?
To complement this, clicking the icon to pop a thread out to its own window should close the thread sidebar/split view.
Restoring split view + updating the new pop-out functionality to work like this would be excellent UX and even better than the original.
Best of both worlds.
Months later, this remains the worst UX change to Slack I've personally experienced, and is a huge productivity killer.
I'm not the only one either: https://t.co/fWKyYix2QA
@SlackHQ Can we at least get a per-user/workspace setting to allow keeping the thread / split view open?
Did I miss something? I used to be able to search in Slack (Linux, Desktop) with a Thread open on the side, and keep it there. Now it keeps closing my thread.😣
This is really killing productivity - I often search for something and then reference it in a thread.😢
@SlackHQ?
