#JantarMantar
Police personnel asked Gurudwara representatives not to let protesters in and to let them do their work. As the representatives denied, police personnel backed off. One of the representatives told The Hindu, "We won't let police enter the premises. Protesters are unarmed and not raising slogans inside the premises, so we are not against them," @suruchiarchives reports.

This is worse than the Emergency.
It’s official.. we are living under an absolute dictatorship ruled by Modi. Arresting cockroaches straight off their flight shows an unprecedented level of fear.
PM Modi clearly knows he only won the election through vote chori and now he is hell-bent on protecting his fraud by completely crushing democracy.
Gyanesh must go, but so must Modi.
After running away from Rahul Gandhi and opposition, the great 56 inch vote chor and coward feku is now so afraid of these young boys that he couldn't even wait for them to get out of the plane to arrest them.
@narendramodi how long can you continue now? Quit and get lost!

#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.
We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

Very Well Said!!! Indian Government cannot misuse Government Machinery for their whims & fancies & for themselves. The Government has not given any answers to the mass deletion of citizens name from the Voter's List!!

PM Nehru sent 22,000 troops in 1962 War against China
PM Vajpayee sent 30,000 troops in 1999 Kargil War against Pakistan
PM Modi deployed 38,000 CAPF personnel against his own citizens to stop them from asking Election Commissioner resignation
Are we at war with our students?
Hundreds of people were detained at Nana Chowk, near August Kranti Maidan, the historic site from which the Quit India Movement was launched in 1942. The gathering had been called by Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi’s great-grandson, in support of the CJP’s demand for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Illegal detention of citizens , and illegal arrest of leaders of the CJP- Is this 'really' Democracy?
Right To Protest-A Fundamental Right Guaranteed by the Constitution of India to the Citizens of India Government violating this 'basic' Fundamental Right!!
We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.
India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.
The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.
In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.

As Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das landed in Delhi, police entered their flight.
Indira Gandhi did the same mistake of arresting opposition leaders and she lost the next election.
BJP would not survive
History of repeating itself
Illegal Arrest by Delhi Police on CJP leaders. Action needs to be taken against them. The Police duty is to protect the citizens of the country, Delhi Police have failed in their duties!!
Right to Protest Is A Fundamental Right of the Citizens of Motherland India mentioned in the Constitution of India!! Curbing this Right shows the high handedness of BJP and the Delhi Police!! BJP safeguard of Indian Constitution??- totally untrue!!
