A covered call lets you lock tokens you already own into a contract and offer someone the right to buy them at an agreed price, the **strike price** before a deadline.

When a buyer purchases your call, you collect a **premium** in exchange for that right.

If they exercise, they pay the agreed strike and receive your tokens. If the option expires unused, you reclaim your tokens and keep the premium.

As a buyer, you pay a premium to secure the right, not the obligation to buy those tokens at the agreed price before expiry. Exercising requires paying the purchase amount; the premium alone does not buy the tokens.

- Arbitrator agrees with the panel → the bond goes to the other side.

If nobody appeals, the panel's decision settles when the 24 hours are up.
