Just treated me more like a toy on a sheIf if that's what you mean by discard then yeah. Even after we were divorced he remained obsessed with me.

So they can get their supply. There's an unmistakable pattern. But they don't lose interest. They feign interest.

@JoshuaLisec In my case his mindset seemed to be if I can't have you then I'm going to destroy you in any way I can. Friends and employer knew the deal. He tried. I eventually had to get a restraining order but that didn't stop him from trying to ruin my reputation. It did stop the stalking.

@BlueRibbonCtry 9 to 5 for me. It was popular during my formative years and contributed, in part, to my work ethic for better or worse. Working 9-5 seemed like the grown woman's anthem to me as a child and I aspired to be that woman.

@t7_linda I think for Gen X these last 2 years have been rough. We've lost a lot of the entertainers we grew up with and it leaves a hole, a vacuum, that nobody can replace. Dolly is at the top of that list. And yes, it is a shift.
