I saw some posts pre-debate about how @MarkJCarney “has a bad temper” and that @PierrePoilievre would try to get under his skin so he’d lose his cool.

It never happened. Even though the other three ganged up on him several times, Mark Carney was a cool customer, polite and thoughtful throughout.

Poilievre on the other hand interrupted, lied, talked over people, and repeated his “lost Liberal decade” talking points again and again and again 💤

I’m calling Carney as the debate winner 🏆 and I’d give @theJagmeetSingh runner up for dropping a couple of bangers, especially calling out Poilievre for building SIX houses when he was housing minister 😂

🟥 Poilievre’s 2 years of RAGE FARMING and pandering to far-right extremists for support and amplification of his toxic messages, came to a head tonight.

Indeed ... it has culminated tonight (at the debate venue) in a SERIOUS security situation where far-right propaganda activists masquerading as “journalists” (Rebel News, etc.) started skirmishes at the Media Centre and physically confronted other journalists and disrupted other media outlets’ coverage!

It was serious enough that police were called in to stabilize the situation and Party Leaders were not able to do the traditional post-debate scrums, to take questions from Canadian media on behalf of Canadian voters.

This is the first time EVER that has ever happened!

Because the security situation could have endanger the Leaders, and members of the media.
