@DocPriyamMD@kh505043 Based on the wording, I guessed Hep C for sexual spread, due to its prevalence in my generation, where we had unrecognized transmission, for a vague condition (anyone else remember Non-A/Non-B as a diagnosis?), and years of silent carriage allowing for even more transmission.
@DocPriyamMD Hep C for transmission
Hep C & (IIRC) Hep E for no vaccine.
I could look things up, but I’d end up on a rabbit trail and never resume work after my break. 😉🤷♀️
@AbbyHasIssues For the love of whatever we love, please make my appointment time be the time you need me to be at the office. I don’t know what the provider’s schedule is , so just book me for whatever time works to hand me a clipboard or iPad, get me onto a room, etc.
@ThrillaRilla369 None from Mom & Dad.
But all As & Bs meant a free hamburger at McDonalds. I was so grateful when they stopped giving out handwriting grades, because my Cs (left-handed) were keeping me from my free 25¢ burger.

About 10 years later, recommendations changed and I went off of the aspirin — on the advice of my physician, who — and prepare to be shocked here — kept up with the medical literature.
@IM_Crit_@American_Heart 🧵1/2
In one datum (n=1), my provider put me in 81 mg aspirin when I was 1st diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 45. At that time, the standard was ASA after your 1st heart attack to prevent the 2nd. Her rationale was the T2D was comparable to an MI as far as cardiac risk.⬇️
@mrmikeMTL 7 verses tell those who had lost the war what to do with their once-beloved flag.
Furl that banner, softly, slowly!
Treat it gently—it is holy—
For it droops above the dead.
Touch it not—unfold it never,
Let it droop there, furled forever,
For its people's hopes are dead!
@mrmikeMTL The oldest thing in our home is a copy of _South Songs_ a collection of southern US Civil war poetry and songs, published in 1866. What I believe to be its most famous poem is “The Conquered Banner” by Fr. Abram Joseph Ryan.

And now we’re on the verge of the rain/lightening delay turning into a “continued tomorrow” for the War Eagles. 3-1 after 3 innings.
The rain is coming down hard enough that I am waiting in a sheltered area for it to clear a bit before walking to my car.
@HoCStaffer I haven’t been lucky enough to have run into any of my former school teachers — at any grade level.
That being said, when I saw my former 6th-7th grade Sunday School teacher a few years back at a church Homecoming, I definitely called her Mrs. Eleazer.
@Youknowthatin@ClistonBrown From records that were declassified towards the end of my father-in-law’s life, we discovered that he’d actually been inserted into Viet Nam into mid-1963 — before Johnson became president.
LBJ continued the conflict, but as others have pointed out, he didn’t start it.
