Smolder is on the edge of her seat, having lawnmowered through almost all of her snacks in the heat of the moment.
“Woof! I’m so excited I could- I-!”
Fire burp.
“Not that…!”
Smolder returns to sit next to @mlp_Gallus and @mlp_strawberryb, arms filled with a sampler board from the snack stand.
“Am I good?! Did I miss anything?!”
She asks with a whole corndog in her mouth.
“It’s just… gone…”
The heavy burden it bore was clear, but she’s utterly wordless at the fact that the idol, the reason why they’re trapped down here, is becoming nothing but sand.
She’s snapped out of her daze when she’s addressed, having to blink the dryness out of her eyes before she can respond.
“It’s…”
But it’s not much. She foolishly thinks she can pick a piece up off the ground to observe it, but it dissolves.
Very clumsily, Smolder props herself up on @mlp_Gallus, not having made things much easier for herself by trying to fight the abyss.
“Augh! Can we not just forget the idol thing?! We’re stuck in a massive hole! The SUN isn’t even up there anymore!”
She doesn’t even notice that @mlp_Gallus and @mlp_Gruff had awoken until the wind throws her against a rock.
“…Hey.”
She speak up flatly, her feet dangling above her head from the tumble.
Thunk thunk CLANK!
Smolder had woken up before the two griffons, and is stoically, yet anxiously attempting to fight her way up. She claws at the walls and the rock and dirt crumbles. She leaps and attempts to fly, yet the wind above them flings her and jangles her armor.
