200+ scans after a move. I wasn’t comfortable having OCR’d finance/immigration/health docs processed off-device.
So I built Sorty: local-first sorting (Vision/OCR + Apple Intelligence local models) with review + Preview.
The most honest thing I heard at a GenAI summit yesterday:
“The tech is the easy part.”
The harder problems I kept hearing about weren’t model performance, they were…people.
A few patterns showed up again and again:
- Models are “good enough”; trust and habits aren’t.
- The useful AI will vanish into email, docs, planning, finance, support.
- If your data is a mess, your AI roadmap is fanfic.
- ROI = changing workflows, not shipping another demo.
Building with Gemini 3 Pro using Google Antigravity feels like the ChatGPT moment for agentic development.
I built this network-based atomic notes app concept in just over an hour.
The speed is wild, but the reasoning is what stands out.
Gemini handled the architectural thinking, while Antigravity automated the browser-based testing and verification that would normally burn an entire afternoon.
Updated my personal readme — the “user manual” I share with new teams on how I work, what I value, and what to expect in 1:1s.

Had a fun chat back in July returning to @theproductmngr pod w/ @hannahhcclark, reflecting on the speed of change in product since I hosted in '22.
Key theme: The old playbooks (feature factories, pure Scrum) are breaking. Adaptability is everything.
We also talked practical AI integration at Float — moving beyond basic chatbots to think about agent flows augmenting user flows. This kind of systems thinking is exactly what I'm digging into during my current sabbatical R&D.
Wrote a bit more about this new focus, the move, and what's next on my blog. I'll be sharing what I learn.

A new chapter. We've moved to Athens. I'm time-boxing this as a 'Relocation Sabbatical' through March 2026.
My focus: a strong conviction that our craft of product development is fundamentally evolving. The old playbooks are breaking.
While I'm digging in, I'm available for the right fit:
- Senior Product Leadership roles (Director+)
- 1-2 selective consulting/advisory gigs
(I'm also mentoring student-led startups at ACS Athens Open, which is already a blast.)
If you're looking to level up your product game, I highly recommend investing in this course. It's a transformative experience that will fundamentally enhance your approach to product.
I recently wrapped up @shreyas' Improving Your Product Sense course on @MavenHQ, and I'm still processing the wealth of insights I gained. It's easily been the most impactful learning experience of my career.

I've already begun applying the course learnings to my work and team's efforts, and it's brought immediate clarity to some of our biggest opportunities.
