How to condition your Rudraksha?

Rudraksha is a natural seed and needs to be conditioned regularly to help prevent it from becoming brittle or cracking.

To condition it, soak the Rudraksha in ghee for 24 hours, followed by full-fat milk for another 24 hours. Rinse with water and gently wipe it with a clean cloth. Avoid using soap or any chemical cleaning agents. Before wearing it, gently rub the Rudraksha with Vibhuti (sacred ash).

Conditioning can be done every six months, preferably around the solstices.
