@mbostock@d3js_org d3 has up until this point (8 years ๐) worked in a large range of browsers and versions without the need to transpile or polyfill - any plans for an es5 compliant bundle?
@mbostock@d3js_org d3-scale v3 now contains es2015+ syntax and introduces a major shift for d3 since the module now needs to be transpiled (and polyfilled) to be used in older browsers. Is this intentional, and will the same thing happen to other modules?
