1 down, 3 to go! Good luck!
@BitsHammer I'm hopeful it's more like 5th. My army is, no matter what GW does. Though I do also appreciate the Exiles list calling back to WFB 3rd.
Painting Bretonnians is very rewarding and I highly recommend. Lots of great Perry sculpts in the 5th edition line.
@lovecraftianfr1@BitsHammer Repanse was in 5th edition WFB, by the background on the text I think this is the 6th edition book - wfrp 2nd had a different background texture to it, but was also after the 5th edition book anyway.
@BitsHammer I much prefer the 5th edition WFB version of becoming a knight: take up an Errantry Quest. That's it. Sure it's implied that it's noble men almost always, but it's not technically a requirement in that book. Though a society that actually kind of functions isn't very Warhammer.
@agnosticnixie@FreyjaErlings 5th edition WFB's knightly requirement was to pledge to an Errantry Quest. You got the gear you could afford to get or were given and off you go to slay a dragon or the like. Nothing about class or gender. I prefer that view to what came later (not even too long after, in 6th!)
@SiegeStudios Hard decision between Mordheim, GorkaMorka, and WHB4 for me. GorkaMorka is right fun and has good kitbashin' in the box. Mordheim, I have lost all of my terrain for sadly, and the sprues are great. WFB4 though I never had, was one edition before my time with the game.
@SHeroQueer Micro sol and set are solvents that work magic on waterslide transfers. Micro sol to get things in place is a lot easier to manage than water, and micro set "melts" the decal to the surface it's on. It's still good to use a gloss varnish to give a slick surface

@ethankillett The Judge Dredd games have been republished recently by Rebellion Group.
Warlock was one of the first four games that GW published on their own, not under license from another publisher. It's the only one of those I don't own a copy of. I gather it has some neat ideas in it.
@Kikoskia Guardians-only Eldar for inefficient. Especially with no Farseer.
For something fun but not necessarily great, a Sisters of Silence army. No Custodes.
Imperial Guard Infantry is also fun.
Genestealer Cult can also be pretty fun.
Following up my pegasus hero from yesterday with a more hastily painted Knight of the Realm champion. Went monochrome with bary argent and sable, with a sword argent fimbriated sable.
Finished painting up my Bretonnian Hero on Pegasus. Quarterly Gules and Azure, a grail Or fimbriated Sable with three embedded gems Gules also fimbriated Sable.
