My brother and his family lost their home in a fire early this morning. Those cute kids just lost everything but the pjs they were wearing. If you’re able to help, I’d be grateful ❤️https://t.co/sRhAVRvWa9

Today is National Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Our purpose on this day of #TruthAndReconciliation is to honour all of the Survivors, children, families & communities impacted by the Residential School System.
How do we truly honour them?
Through action & not words alone.(1/3)
This is hopefully amazing news. As a parent impacted, I have not yet received this letter but I’m hoping that is a formality that will soon be rectified.
ICYMI: B.C. parents of children who experience seizures fear they can't send their kids back to class after being told school staff will no longer be able to administer life-saving medication. @CUrquhartGlobal has more on the sudden change.

.@CUrquhartGlobal is working on a shocking story for tonight's @GlobalBC News at 11: BC parents told there are new rules in schools when it comes to kids with seizure disorders.
Exclusive details at 11 p.m.
@oanababy @adriandix We have not been given a reason. He needs it at the 5 minute mark in his seizure per his neurologist. His school administered it many times last year. They are all trained. Now if he seizes, they can only watch and call 911.
As of yesterday, we learned that our son with active epilepsy cannot receive his rescue meds at school. The ones that kept him alive last year. The Ministry communicated it to parents on the eve of school. Devastated to choose b/n education or safety for my son. #bced@adriandix
It seems blatantly discriminatory to me that Nursing Support Services will no longer train #bced staff on the use of rescue meds, so students who have unpredictable seizures have to have an ambulance called. How long do they take these days again? #BCambulance
