@seveibar Generally you are dealing two separate concerns (1) is display able to communicate with mcu and show what is intended? (2) Is what is intended being rendered / laid out correctly. For (1) you can just show a QR code scan it with camera and compare results
@seveibar I am already using a similar system for end-to-end testing and loop engineering :D I use a Raspberry Pi for the powerful end (runs claude code) has camera, microphone, speakers, etc and the ESP32 device interact with it. you can use LVGL simulator and take screenshots also
@seveibar you'd still need a paste stencil with this but you might be able to inject the paste using a needles into the via hole. You need precision milling...
@seveibar easier hack would be paste in hole. when board is milled for the via hole, you stop right before it cuts through the bottom copper later (a tiny hole is okay), then you fill the hole with solder paste. A cone shaped hole will be better.
