Hi @MidlandsState Shouldn’t you have noticed earlier that certain classes didn’t meet the required enrollment and communicated in a timely manner that you lack the capacity to offer those programs?
Wondering what a winning statement of purpose for PhD/Master’s applications looks like?
Follow these steps to ensure an appealing SoP!
1. Mention any challenge(s) in your field that make you curious.
These can be your research interest.
Provide possible pathways on how you can contribute to its solutions by doing a PhD.
2. Link your interest with the professor(s) in the institute.
You have to prove two things here:
-How working with them will nurture your research goals & curiosity.
-How can your knowledge add to the body of their research.
3. Align yourself with the values & philosophies of the institute.
Remember that you are going there as a human being first, and as a researcher second.
To be the right fit, you need to align not just with the profs & lab, but also with the foundation & philosophy of the uni.
These three ingredients are the starting points for you to demonstrate your research acumen .
Don't waste the precious space on your SoP by being vague.
Everyone applying is "passionate"
You need to support that passion by being "concrete" & "specific" while being open to other opportunities that may be suited to you.
It's the royal blend of specificity & flexibility that makes your SoP unforgettable!
Next thing you know, you are invited for the interview.

6 Truths About Mental Wellness:
1. No one can heal you. Therapists can guide you and it's on us to do the work.
2. You have to advocate for yourself. Research: C-PTSD, polyvagal theory, and attachment.
3. Most symptoms are survival adaptations. They were learned when you needed them to survive. They're a sign of resilience.
4. Nutrition is key. When the body lacks minerals and nutrients, it will show in symptoms.
5. Relationships create our health. Placing boundaries around unhealthy relationships is the first step.
6. Your body wants to heal. It needs sleep, quiet, and time to create/play. Take all actions to support this.

I know this is how it feels like waiting for Thursday so that we can see the depth of how corrupt ZANUPF elites and their surrogates are in plundering the country’s natural resources and looting public funds using dodgy corrupt titles!
Tomorrow is Wednesday, then Thursday comes!
