Many on 𝕏 have already called out how depraved this post is, but it's also really a very bizarre thing for an American Orthodox Christian to say.

As evil as such sentiment is, I can at least understand what would motivate an Israeli to say it, or even a Western Jew who strongly identifies with Israel, because their sense of tribalism and Jewish supremacy has caused them to value the life of a Jew above that of a Palestinian. But that fact that Mr. Dreher—who is of course neither Israeli nor Jewish, and is surely aware of the suffering the IDF has visited upon his own fellow Orthodox Christians in Palestine—has clearly chosen to align himself with that Jewish supremacy shows how much Zionism has infected his soul.
