@gridironkingss@BillSimmons That’s a cap. Of you were reading him in the 2000’s on Page 2, or if you’ve really listened to the podcast since ‘07 like myself, or others like me, no random collaborator is going to make you completely tune out. You’re either lying or FOS?
@DrNiravPandya 90% if the NBA smokes pot … every day. Doctors who are really looking into this have already seen the correlation, and the long term poor sleep and recovery due to marijuana use has been speculated on for years now. Where have you been?
@jayrat33@ClayTravis Also, Sophie was sticking up for her teammate, who had been targeted by that same opposing player multiple times, across multiple games. There was a precedent for hard foul. This is a common precedent across ALL sports.
@jayrat33@tracy_4571@ClayTravis She immediately tweeted “White Privilege”, dum dum. Do you think THAT may have had something to do with people talking about the racial aspect?
@Connecticut85@ClayTravis That was in response to that same player specially targeting Caitlyn Clark multiple times, over multiple games. There was a precedent for her sticking up for her teammate when the refs refused to do it. This is there he standard across ALL sports.
@ANewDemDeal@its_The_Dr No. She didn’t kick it out of anger or frustration. She kicked it because it bounced at her and she reflexively kicked it with her foot, but it looks like she wanted to tap it and contain in the area, not kick it. And then she immediately retrieved it for the ref. Warning at wor
@bruce4freedom7@its_The_Dr At worst … the ref could give her a warning if he was being really anal and had a bug up his arse that day? But there is no way that this same call would be made in men’s high school, college, or NBA … ever … in any era.
@bruce4freedom7@its_The_Dr No. It would have been a delay of game if she had not immediately retrieved the ball for the ref. The reason she kicked was pure reflex because she legally knocked it out of bounds and it bounced right back at her. She wasn’t angry at a call or something, she was just reacting.
@JohnnySavs6@terrancelee68@theScore@theblockspot Except … P.E.R measures efficiency with the actual stats and data. MJ is number 1 in player efficiency rating. Watch the video “Best GOAT comparison: Jordan vs LeBron” it’s 5 years old, but it still nails many of the main points. MJ has the better traditional stats AND advanced
@JohnnySavs6@terrancelee68@theScore@theblockspot No. I’m talking sabermetrIcs. MJ is head and shoulders above LeBron (as are some other players, btw) in EVERY advanced statistical category, of which there are many. Some examples are P.E.R, V.O.R.P, Win shares, etc. MJ is number on in all; Lebron is often not even number 2
@JohnnySavs6@terrancelee68@theScore@theblockspot Based on what? Your feelings? MJ is better in every advanced statistical category that doesn’t have to do with longevity.
Playing for long time WILL help you accumulate stat totals, but it won’t make you a “better” player. Watch “Best GOAT Comparison: Jordan vs LeBron” YT video
@notlikejaylen @NotLikeTyrese Criticizing Curry’s defense in a group that also has Kyrie, Harden, and Luka … that’s wild, casual energy at its apex. Congrats on knowing almost nothing about basketball, I guess? Side note: Curry has led the league in steals multiple times in his career, I believe?
@th3shortbus @YahooSports You’re right. Every year, half of the first round never even make it onto the floor, and a handful are deep on the bench. And then a handful are instantly good. That’s been the trend for 40 years.
@AlienOnLunch@Hoopss What??!!!! Bro is literally known to be the most egregious flopper and drama queen. The moment he gets ANY incidental contact, he’s on the ground for minutes rolling around, before “heroically” getting up and continuing to play. The guy has a soft as shxt.
@hooverboard0@riotfv@ClutchPoints Wemby has no say in the matter, dummy. The organization in San Antonio put a cap on his minutes this season in order to protect him as he continues to grow into his body, and to limit the possibility of injury.
