Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Prolonged Power Outage in Wagholi & Request to Shift Electricity Grid from Rural to Urban
Respected Sir,
On behalf of Wagholikar we would like to bring to your kind attention the serious issue faced by residents of Ubale Nagar, Wagholi.
Today at around 2:00 AM, electricity supply was disrupted in the Ubale Nagar area, and even after more than 17 hours, power has not been restored. Residents, including senior citizens, children, and working families, are facing severe inconvenience due to this prolonged outage.
We would like to understand why there is no back-feeding arrangement to ensure uninterrupted or alternate power supply during such breakdowns. In today’s time, such long power cuts in a rapidly developing area are unacceptable.
Furthermore, we humbly request your intervention to shift the Wagholi electricity grid classification from Rural to Urban, as Wagholi is now officially part of the Pune Municipal Corporation. Despite being under PMC limits, electricity services are still managed under rural categorization, which affects infrastructure development and response time.
We sincerely request you to kindly:
Direct concerned authorities to immediately restore electricity supply.
Ensure proper back-feeding mechanisms to avoid such long outages in the future.
Initiate the process to convert Wagholi’s electricity grid from Rural to Urban category at the earliest.
We hope for your prompt action in the interest of thousands of residents.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,

Subject: Complaint Regarding Drainage Water Flowing on Road
Respected Sir,
With due respect, I would like to bring to your attention that drainage water is continuously flowing on the road in our area. This has created an unhygienic situation and is causing serious health and safety issues for the residents, especially children and senior citizens.
The foul smell, mosquito breeding, and waterlogging are leading to hygiene problems and increasing the risk of waterborne diseases. Such conditions are unacceptable for the residents who are regularly paying property tax but not receiving basic civic amenities.
I also wish to know whether your department intends to take any strict action against the societies or establishments responsible for releasing untreated drainage water onto the roads. Due to their negligence, the entire neighborhood is suffering.
We sincerely request you to look into this matter at the earliest and take necessary action to stop the drainage water from flowing on the roads. Immediate intervention will help prevent further health hazards and restore cleanliness in our locality.
We look forward to your urgent action and positive response.
Thanking You,
Yours faithfully,
Wagholi Welfare Foundation
The present condition of Silver Spring, located on BAIF Road in Wagholi, is deeply concerning. The area is plagued by dirty, stagnant water and open drainage systems that remain unattended. Accumulated garbage further worsens the situation, turning the vicinity into a potential breeding ground for mosquitoes and other harmful insects.
This unhygienic environment increases the risk of serious health hazards, including vector-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria, as well as waterborne infections and skin-related illnesses. The combination of poor waste management, lack of proper drainage, and unchecked water stagnation not only creates an unpleasant atmosphere but also endangers the well-being of residents, especially children and the elderly who are more vulnerable to infections.

@ola_supports Also a observation, once it hapns next driver know previous trip is cancelled n next one will tell you, you stay overnight here but no one will come below 25 km rate. So definitely they have way to communicate in that area. You need to break that first. And remove them from pool
@Olacabs does 25 rs KM is the standard rate now?
Today it took me almost hour to book cab and driver made me to cancel ride. Will happy to pay rs 25 if you have Innova in u r fleet , not a stingy rusty dusty mini cab. Please let me know.
