@ShereenBhan@jpatel41@Cisco I'd expect large AI companies acquiring traditional IT services companies. This saves time, acquires existing client relationships along with tech engineers (some of whom may become FDEs), though many of acquired companies' staff would be laid off. imo.
@vishnuagarwal64 Well, one famous economist said if one country is subsidising, why should we resist it ? True, if domestic manufacturers aren't able to keep up. But I'd hope that those 4 Chinese companies work through JVs in India so that local partners too benefit.
I have been reading and listening to AI and industry experts talking of a big shift in the model of how enterprise AI will be implemented, a big shift from a model of using IT services companies (like in last 4 decades) to embedded FDEs in enterprises. This new model is evolving very fast, big tech AI companies are talking about recruiting those FDEs bypassing traditional IT services companies. If this model is successful, this may turn out to be bad for Indian IT industry. I am left wondering how will these Indian companies adapt, what will happen to smaller IT services companies ?
Will this shift lead to massive corporate acquisitions of traditional IT services companies by large tech AI companies ? I think yes! The IT services companies have existing relationships with client enterprises, besides they have IT engineering talent. Both these factors will quicken AI inroads in enterprises, quicker an enterprise transition from legacy into AI mode the better for IA companies as well. However such acquisition will lead to massive downsizing in target companies, not all employees are needed for FDEs.
We are witnessing a tech techonic shift! #AI #enterpriseAI
I am intrigued by #sonatasoftware price action. Price shoots up along with volume, but somehow the price come down, then another price and volume shootup. The most interesting (and important part however) is that delivery volumes on those days are 6, 6.4,9.3 and 14.4 % compared to typical 30% on other days. So what you think this info is telling us?
Controversy regarding E20 (petrol mixed with 20% of ethanol) is slowly growing, that motorists are getting lower milage and mixed fuel is causing mechanical issues in the car. Lets wait and see, it may have some effect on ethanol stocks or even car makers. #ethanol
I downloaded my accounts bank statement #hdfcbank . But the downloaded pdf statement is password protected. But there is no info on password, how will one know which password to use here ? I think HDFC Bank emplyess are playing prnaks on its customers.
@ActusDei Somehow I will take me time to shake out after Claude told lies to me while analysing a stock derivative. Specially when it says 'i am capable of confidently misinforming you, so you have to be careful when using the information I provide'
Speculation about possible gold revaluation is getting louder as July 4 draws nearer. Lets wait and see if anything comes out of it. But mere betting on it may push up gold prices, short term. #gold
Curious case of Indian mining and processing company Vedanta. It was demerged into 5 companies including the main one. Now on the day of listing demerged ones, all, except one that rose by 700%, fell in one swoop, very deep, by 75%. Then some of them started climbing up now, but more like yo yo. Does this reflect how badly demerger was done or is it how unpredictable Mr Market is ? #vedanta #vedl
@KingKong9888@TheOldManofthe3 will the US reveal its gold holdings if/when revaluation comes through (being a balance sheet number), but they might as well put some number there, just for secrecy.
