I feel like this needs to be stated more clearly: Afro-Latinos are Africans in Latin America. African-Americans are Africans in the United States. We're all African. Our differences are in the languages we speak & where the slave ship dropped our ancestors off.

Had a facisinating conversation with an elder who expained the affects of abolishing of certain traditional pratices.

One was oaths of honesty. In traditional Igbo societies people who held certain positions would take oaths.

Nowadays, there isn't the same fear of lying.
