@channelyakele@denniskioko Thank you for this. People are pushing very non sensical narratives around road safety when we clearly need discipline on our roads
@denniskioko before they put camera they check if the sign exist first, unless you used corruption to buy your DL it will be a normal drive, i have dashcam and all areas with camera there is clear speed limit
“Ma chalo mana lek” is Luo for ‘this is like a dream’. In many parts of rural Luo Nyanza the people long concluded nothing will ever change.
The politics of the region supporting this pessimistic view of things; with only one hope: Raila presidency.
Now the people are seeing infrastructure transformation and comparing such to dreams…many first doubted, then slowly when the heavy machinery started appearing they crossed their fingers; now the reality is hitting home.
President @WilliamsRuto will be voted in by Luo Nyanza residents on account of his development record in the region.
And the Luo will VOTE.
@kit__katss We shouldn't turn our country into that xeno one. I always believe Kenya is one of the most hospitable countries to foreigners in the world.
@TangoFox_ Speed limits aren't only based on road geometry eetc.
It's also for pedestrian safety. Footbridges are few in Kenya, and pedestrians often cross highways, and they're the ones who die the most, even more than car/motorbike users
Kenyan drivers are used to hit and run. Slow down
@MuchiriH I support it 100%,, next should be people getting shafted for illegal parking, reckless overlapping and running red lights( NAMATA needs to have those lights up and running)
Kumbe siri ya kulainisha wakenya is fining them heavily?
@RKosiom Did you know that unlike Kenya where land is majorly privately owned, land in TZ is largely owned by the govt?
Compensation forced the overall cost of SGR to shoot. Not the singular factor but perhaps the greatest contributor.
@akibaru Oh stop whining!
If you didn’t provide your biometrics, your visa was outrightly going to be refused. You can’t fail to follow the laid out process then come on here to whine.
Good luck with all your future visa applications because you’ll now have to report this refusal.
There’s not a single mega infrastructure project that’s not going to be opposed.
The anti-development tribalists want Kenya to stagnate and use that as a campaign tool in 2027.
Economic saboteurs.
KUMI BILA BREAK.
