@GS_ARDO Only a fool would mistake what you tweeted for a debate. It’s just a reflection of what you hope happens to ElRufai and I wish the same for you.”
Gaskiya manyan Arewa sun ba ni kunya.
El Rufai has been in detention for over 100 days. In that period he lost his mother, was only allowed a few days to bury her and even spent Eid under detention amma not one elder in the North can find their voice to speak up? The same people who can rush to the Villa when contracts are involved, who can arrange meetings when money or political interests are at stake suddenly cannot come together to tell the President the obvious, that some things should not be allowed to get this far.
What exactly happened to Northern leadership? What happened to courage? What happened to standing up for your own when they are being treated unfairly?Whether you agree with El Rufai politically or not, watching a man go through this level of humiliation while everyone looks away is painfu, pitif and a disgrace.
And this is what worries me. If influential people can be isolated and everyone stays quiet, what happens tomorrow when bigger issues come? What happens if God forbid Tinubu tries to amend the constitution to allow stay in power beyond 2031? We are all seeing certain patterns emerge amma muna acting as if nothing is happening.
I just just hope we do not wake up one day regretting this collective silence because by then it may be too late.

Turns out some people weren’t fighting for better governance, they were just supporting their tribe. What a country. 💔😂
Who is Malam Nasiru Ahmad @elrufai ? MNE.
Gov @ubasanius has a response for you:
In the entire history of Kaduna State, NO governor has come close to MNE in terms of performance and delivery.
During his tenure as the FCT Minister, people cried out about his harsh policies, but 2 to 3 years after he left, everyone started the real cry, asking him to come back and rescue Abuja. That is the kind of person he is; when he comes to a place, he does what others can never do. In fact, what I have keenly noticed about him is that he isn't someone that you'd say you will imitate. You cannot copy him. Because when he works, he does not do it for applause or commendation. He does what he knows is right even if the people d not see it now, because they will see it in the future. That is why, I m boldly telling you, those that are complaining today in Kaduna (sic: due to what Malam is transforming the state to be), they will wish in the next few years that they'd wish Malam Elrufai is here to rescue the state. What he is doing today in Kaduna, history will forever be grateful to him.
The Real Story of Southern Kaduna Hatred: Perception, Politics, and Historical Grievances – Not Religious Persecution
Southern Kaduna has long been a theatre of complex and painful conflicts rooted in land disputes, indigene-settler tensions, and historical claims of marginalisation that predate Mallam Nasir El-Rufai by many decades. When he became governor in 2015, he inherited a volatile situation marked by recurring farmer-herder clashes, banditry, and cycles of reprisal attacks that had claimed hundreds of lives. His administration’s firm security measures, including the appointment of a Southerner as Commissioner for Internal Security were aimed at restoring order, not targeting any faith or ethnic group.
A key figure in that security architecture was Samuel Aruwan, a Christian brother from the Kataf ethnic group in Southern Kaduna, who served as Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs. Aruwan was not only “one of their own” but also one of the most visible faces of the government’s response to the violence. The administration’s tough stance on criminal hideouts (such as the 2018 Gonin Gora statement) was framed by some as an attack on Christians, even though the same policies applied across the state and were designed to protect all citizens, regardless of religion.
The intense hatred directed at Mallam Nasir El-Rufai in parts of Southern Kaduna was not primarily about religion. It stemmed from deep historical grievances, political mobilisation, and the perception that a Muslim-led government was biased. El-Rufai’s characteristically blunt communication style and refusal to play ethnic politics made him an easy target for those who preferred to exploit divisions rather than solve problems. Yet the facts remain: his government appointed Southern Kaduna indigenes to critical security positions, confronted criminality head-on, and worked to enforce the rule of law in a region long plagued by impunity.
We do not deny the pain and loss suffered by communities in Southern Kaduna. But truth must be told: the conflicts are older and more complicated than any single governor. Painting Mallam Nasir El-Rufai as the villain ignores the historical context and the difficult but necessary decisions he took to protect lives. True healing will come only when all sides choose facts over emotion and justice over political scapegoating.
The Movement is Rising.
Truth Over Emotion.

It's Friday 22nd of May😭😭😭
As always we won't forget nor relent from reminding the government that Mallam @elrufai is being detained illegally for over 95 days, the political persecution is gross and nothing other than violation of his fundamental rights under a so called democratic dispensation.
May Allah safeguard Mallam and for his tormentors may the Almighty deal with them according to his wish.
🙏
Tonight night, because of Nuhu Ribadu, I will be revisiting "The Accidental Public Servant" by Mallam Nasir Elrufai @elrufai just to refresh my brain on how he helped him when he got his breakthrough as the EFCC chairman under Obasanjo but no budget, no office and limited access to the president.
Mallam being a man of honor, whose aspirations are to see corrupt free Nigeria, hold his hand by providing office and generating funds for him to start with.
The evil of a man is second to none.
If you have never read that book, please do.
DSS really called Mallam El-Rufai “Man of Integrity” and presented his words as evidence in court.
DSS indirectly pointed at PR Dogs that call Mallam a liar, irresistibly proving them to be clowns and dull people.
